Dear Lions of Multiple District 105,
My sincere congratulations to you for committing to attend and participate in the Multiple District 105 convention.
Maureen and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to MD 105 for hosting our recent visit to help celebrate Lions Day with the United Nations at the House of Commons. It was a privilege for us to attend and address the Lions, and members of Parliament who were present.
This convention provides an important opportunity to discuss with Lions from neighbouring districts the efforts your Clubs and Districts are making to enact positive changes in your communities and across the globe. This gathering should be treated as a learning experience. By communicating with other Lions, you will take away new thoughts and ideas on how you can assist your Clubs and Districts in improving existing projects and possibly establishing new ones.
Lions have achieved great things with compassion and determination, but there are still many in need that your Multiple District can help. Lions achieve miracles through service every day, and your active engagement in this Convention will help ensure that Lions will continue to exert a positive influence in the lives of people around the world.
On a more personal note, special thanks to PID Howard Lee who has served above and beyond the call of service as a group leader, global membership team leader, and Board Appointee this year.
Thanks for all your continued effort and dedication and best wishes in your future endeavours,
Sincerely,
Al Brandel, International President.
